My Indonesian project: Biography presentation

I have many choices! First I picked Florence Nightingale. I know her as the founder of modern nursing. I have the ilustrated book. That’s why I picked it. I’m proud of her. She’s kind-hearted. I love to present myself as humble as her. “too kind, too kind” – Florence Nightingale

I’ve made up my mind. I was inspired by Gretta for her stunning presentation. She casted as Ratna. Japanese girl who lived in Indonesia once. Whoaaa… at that time I considered to bring national unveiled fact with related striking figure. I found Mata Hari. Controversial life. I don’t have anything to follow but I love the way she lived her life. “I am a woman who enjoys herself very much; sometimes I win, sometimes I lose” -Mata Hari

Tonight I watched Metro TV program, Biography. It was Al Gore’s. I’d watched An Inconvinient Truth before. I’d read his 2nd book before. Still, I can’t forget them all. I remember I showed Dennis’s book to my friends in English Lab. I just fit with his point of view and way of living. I even drew his farm. Al Gore Jr. is charismatic, eh? To me, he’s so cool. Now, I’m thinking about becoming him in my turn to present a biography in front of the class. Luckily and coincidently, my turn to present Mata Hari today was postponed. Mr Amir was absent.

Pffffiiuuuh… I loose my appetite again. Phil said, – oh even can’t remember well! He wants me to make new idea not follow others’. Yet use the old one, but then get pass it all. Do I need a figure to follow? I have many here. So become figures, with ’s’. That ’s’ matter makes me confused about the black and white. The right and worng ones to follow. However I don’t want to be a follower. Still, need to be that a moment to make my own way.

Alright. I wish I’m not misled.

Who celebrates Earth’s Day on Earth?!

Yesterday I was told by Satryo that there was a demonstration about ’saving Earth’ on the road. He said that the mass that did the demonstration consisted mostly youths. Well, I didn’t take a notice of that much. Hmmm… then, today Iko told me that yesterday was an Earth’s Day. Whoaaah! I was gobsmack!

I have missed Earth’s day many times in my life. This year too! Well, well, What could I do? Greenpeace even doesn’t send me any Earth’s day newsletter so I can be that up-to-date. Which one is lame now?

My Love

I’ve never ran into the wild in Australia

I’ve never touched snow in Europe

I’ve never danced through the rain in Africa

And even I’ve never felt the mist in America

I always have the warmth from Asia!

I’ll embrace my Earth until I get close to you no matter where you are…
